Mask Monday ♡ A'pieu Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Mask ♡ Watermelon

One of my top favourite fruits is watermelon (my number one actually being pomegranate), despite it's slightly odd texture, I always feel refreshed eating it and it just tastes so so good. So it made it an obvious choice. Of course, the packaging being pastel pink also added an extra point to me choosing to purchase this mask out of the range of Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Masks from my ever loved A'pieu. The range actually has 4 different ~flavours~ (I never know what term to use for sheet mask variations? Face flavours? Maybe I'll use that from now on). It comes in Melon, Watermelon, Pineapple and Hanrabong (it's a form of sweet mandarin orange or so google tells me). Wanting to try more and more sheet masks and discover a few favourites, I've been picking up one or two every so often to give them a go so this was my most recent selection.

K-Beauty Files V - Pink Bird Edition - Sophie of Maple Tree Blog

My K-Beauty Files series is one that lets me share with you some bloggers that share the same interest as me in regards to Korean beauty products. It also allows my readers to discover those in a similar niche to me that will give them a little bit of a different perspective of things. Today I have the super sweet, Sophie (that was not meant to be an alliteration!!) answering my questions about Korean beauty! I met Sophie through the Etude House Pink Bird Programme this year as well as Yennie from last month.

Mask Monday ♡ Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Mask ♡ Makgeolli

First of all, apologies for missing last week's Mask Monday. I felt like I was starting to get on a roll with these but I missed last week due to feeling a bit stressed out and a bit down in all honesty. So self care and blogging took a bit of a back seat while I tried to let myself relax and try and get myself back together. However, I'm baaaaack today~ carrying on with the Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Masks this time in the Makgeolli variety. So what is makgeolli? Well, it's a sweet Korean alcoholic beverage made from rice (usually) or wheat, one I actually haven't tried but do intend to at somepoint (I have had soju before and I ended up getting fairly drunk after one bottle.....I'm a cheap date). The beverage itself is supposed to be very benficial to the skin containing a heap of probiotics along with vitamins and minerals, leaving several benefits to the skin.
