Mask Monday ♡ Leaders Mediu Amino Moisture Mask

I've been meaning to try a lot more brands when it comes to my sheet masks, there are one or two brands who's affordable sheet masks I will always return to due to affordability and effectiveness (Etude House, Innisfree and A'pieu mainly). But I want to try more, try and find my holy grail masks that I can turn to whenever I have a skincare need that needs a little maintenance. Today I have one from a brand that I have been wanting to try for a while and I actually got this as a little bonus gift from a giveaway I won ran by BOXNIP. I was quite thankful for this as it lets me get a little preview of the brands masks performance before I go and buy.

K-Beauty Files VI - Fii of Little Miss Fii

One of my favourite things about this series is getting to know a little more in depth detail about other people's relationship when it comes to Korean beauty. Everyone's story is so different and I love finding out about what they have to say. Today I have my lovely cutest wee friend Fii (go check her blog pls thx) and she is going to answer my rather long list of questions. She may have taken exactly a year and a week to answer with these but she did reply which is the main thing. She's gone and shared a great amount of detail in her answers which has made it really enjoyable for me read and I hope you enjoy her answers as much as I did!

Mask Monday ♡ Skinfood Pomegranate Collagen Lip Mask

This weeks mask is a little different to my usual facial ones in that this is one specifically for your lips. I suffer from dry lips all year round but they get considerably worse when it comes to winter time, so I've been thinking lately I need to give them a little bit more TLC than they have been getting. I've seen these about in the K-beauty community for years but for some reason never got round to buying them. But lately while I was searching for some new beauty products to try I decided to give them a go and my god I had a lot to choose from as most of the Korean brands have their own version of these masks. I opted for the Skinfood Pomegranate Collagen Lip Mask because one, I absolutely love pomegranate (it's my #1 favourite fruit ever) and I feel like I haven't tried enough of Skinfood's skincare products. So it seemed ideal for me to pick these up.

Introducing The By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash

I was recently given the opportunity by Wishtrend to try out their newest product added to their By Wishtrend skincare line. Something I was quite ecstatic about as the lovely people at Wishtrend are so enthusiastic when it comes to skincare and seeing them have their own line of stuff seems like such an accomplishment for them. So this nifty little product is the Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash, yep you read that right, powder wash. This is a new feat for me to be trying out, which makes the experience all that little more exciting for me. This was launched on the 10th of November (I fully intended on posting about this that day but thanks to my laptop issues I couldn't) and it can be purchased here*.

The product comes in a gorgeous pale apple green shade, perfectly fitting for the green tea ingredient. The bottle feels sturdy and well produced. The design is minimalist yet slightly sleek at the same time while managing to be cute. Due to the powder product inside it is also very lightweight.

The cleanser has a flip top cap that is on the secure side. This combined with it being a powder cleanser makes it ideal for taking with you on your travels as if any of the product does manage to get out (say they were particularly excited about moving your bags about) then you can scoop it back into the bottle instead of having everything in your bag soaked by a cleanser.

To use the product you simply empty a small amount of the powder into your hands and mix with a tiny bit of water. The powder dissolves and bubbles up to a little collection of soft gentle bubbles. If you rub the water into the powder immediately you can apply the bubbles directly to your face but if you manage to not mix it in and mix when rubbing on your face you will get to use the product as a very soft and gentle exfoliant. I prefer to use it as the latter as I feel my skin feels a lot softer afterwards.

As you can see above it becomes a gentle bubbly, frothy soap which is perfect for sensitive skin. One of the key things is to make sure to use lukewarm water to actually allow the enzymes to take effect with your skin.

This cleanser also contains baking powder and enzymes derived from papaya which allows for the effect of gentle exfoliation without causing you to cause harm and pull at the skin. It helps take care of blackheads and provides an amount of moisturisation to the skin as well. One of the key ingredients is the green tea extract. You will probably know by now that green tea is a fantastic antioxidant and it can do wonders for the skin as well. It calms the skin down and helps clear up any skin issues. You can find more detailed information on the product page I linked at the top of the page!

So what was my own experience with this cleanser?

One of the things that makes me love this cleanser so much is that it has this pure matcha scent to it. One of my favourite smoothies is a vanilla matcha smoothie and this just reminds me of that and makes me crave one! It's such a light gentle scent and has such a natural undertone to it rather than smelling artificial. I love how gently it foams up but how well it cleanses the skin in doing so. I've found my complexion has improved somewhat since I started using it a few weeks ago as I have been using it most mornings before I apply my make up. It leaves the skin feeling silky smooth after application and brightens the complexion almost immediately. This effect tends to stay with prolonged use.

One thing I will say is that because of the fact that there is baking soda in it it may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin as it may feel a bit harsh and drying if you use it too regularly. I tend to swap this out every two-three days to use a foam cleanser and then go back to it. It doesn't seem to cause any irritation with my skin which is probably due to me having quite robust skin. I have used it during periods of hypersensitivity and I haven't dealt with any of the burning sensations that some other cleansers leave me with during this time. It is also recommended by Wishtrend to not using this product in conjunction with ingredients such as retinol, Vitamin C in high quantities (such as a serum) and AHA/BHA actives. This can cause some issues with your skin so it's best to avoid them when using this cleanser.

So far throughout the past few weeks I have only had positive things to say about this, so I'm overally pretty happy with this product. I would recommend it to any skin type but for those with sensitive skin to be a bit more careful with how often you use it. I think once I use this up I would probably purchase another bottle of it as I love the premise of having a powder cleanser that gives my skin a necessary gentle exfoliation on a regular basis while keeping it looking clean and fresh and aiding in some of my skin issues.

Have you tried this cleanser yourself or would you like to give it a go? Have you yourself ever come across a powder cleanser?

Mask Monday ♡ Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Mask ♡ Lemon

I am back and I am back with the best series on this blog (I know y'all love my mask mondays!).

I recently posted about the fact that my laptop broke and I thought I would update you all first that I managed to get all my files safely off the laptop without having to spend a fortune getting someone from data recovery to do it for me. I also got a new laptop thanks to my mum's boyfriend, who very kindly bought me a new one (I just pay him back a little each month!), so this means I can get back into blogging!
I've actually been managing to take good care of my skin lately, which is a bit of a shock for me as I tend to just use my stuff for a couple days and then give up. However, I have managed to stay consisitent and it is showing in my skin. I have however, had a few days this week that I haven't had a lot of sleep so my skin has been looking a little bit on the dull side, so I decided to pick up one of my masks that would give my skin a little brightness boost and reduce some of the redness in my face as well. Tony Moly's I'm Real Mask in Lemon seemed to be the perfect fit for the job, so it's time to see if it does the trick!

See You Soon

I just thought I would get a post up explaining that I'm not going to be blogging/blogging as much over the next little while. Yesterday, to my annoyance, my laptop decided it wanted to get stuck in a loop of a black screen and won't even go into safe mode to try and recover it from a previous state, so it's completely unusable.

This of course means I don't have a way of blogging in a conveniently accessible way. My partner does have a PC but he's usually using it or his PS4 (which shares the monitor for the PC, so I can't just freely go on whenever I want. I also sometimes like to go away and come back to something if I am writing it up. It's an inconvenience so I'll probably not be posting up on here for the next while, dependant on how long it can take me to find a way of getting a new laptop or saving up for one.

The thing that upset me the most about all of this was the fact that all the photos I've taken of my daughter since she was born and big family events were all on that laptop and I can't access them with there being a chance they are lost. I'm trying to remain hopeful and think that there is just an issue with the OS and the HDD itself. I'm going to get someone to try and recover all my files next month and if I manage to get everything back that will save me one hell of a world of upset. I also lost a bunch of photos that I had pretaken for blog posts, but those aren't as much of a priority to me as the photos of my daughter.

I'll still be active on my other social media, primarily twitter for the moment as I won't be able to get as much content out on Instagram as all my photos bar my selcas are taken on my camera and edited on the laptop. I'll still spend some time while not blogging taking photos and writing up notes for posts when I manage to get something sorted out.

I thought it would be best to do a little update so that any readers that don't follow me elsewhere don't think I've just gone MIA. I'll be back as soon as I can and I may have the odd blog post done from time to time if I get a chance to sit and get one done.

Thank you and see ya soon~

Mask Monday ♡ Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask - Calming

Well well well, it has been a while since I have reviewed a mask that isn't a sheet mask. I'm not gonna lie, but I think Innisfree did a good job getting the P101/Wanna One boys promoting this product as it probably increased their sales a massive amount. That was ~partially~ one of the reasons I decided to pick one up, asides from the fact I needed another wash off type mask and kinda want to start multimasking to combat the different areas of my skin. So, today if you haven't guessed already, I am going to be doing a cute wee review of the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Color Clay Mask in Purple/Calming) which was recently featured in my little Innisfree haul last week.

How To Buy Korean Beauty Products from eBay Safely

I remember making my first purchase for a Kbeauty product back in the early months of 2010. It was the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream which actually remained a staple in my make up collection. Ever since then I have always relied on eBay to make my beauty purchases apart from a handful of occasions, so I've become very savvy when it comes to buying from there. One thing that eBay is notoriously known for is the fact that from time to time, the products up for sale aren't genuine products. This rings all too true when it comes to K-beauty and regularly in my searches for products I come across fakes that to me, a little eBay Kbeauty veteran, are screamingly obvious, but to others that may be new to K-beauty they can be a little bit difficult to spot.

A Little Innisfree Skincare Haul

It's been a while since I actually bought some skincare products, but after using up everything I had I finally decided to get my hands on some new stuff to treat my skin to. I was initially going to get from a range of brands but decided to stick solely to Innisfree this time and a particular range they have out which is their The Minimum range. It claims to have a very high percentage of natural ingredients and to be made for sensitive skin. Due to my skin being a little bit hyper sensitive lately, this seemed like the ideal choice for me to pick up. I also decided to pick up another face mask, as aside from my A'pieu Gelato Mask I only have sheet masks, so I need something a little extra!

Mask Monday ♡ Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Mask ♡ Tomato

Hey hey hey! How are we all doing today? It's Monday, so it's my favourite time of the week which is my Mask Monday series. I for one am very impressed I have managed to keep it up for so long so a little round of applause for me! I actually only got this one used last night as Saturday I was at a wedding which meant a lot of food and a lot of alcohol. Alcohol is something that heavily dehydrates not only your body but your skin, so I felt like I needed to give my skin a little freshen up and get it some moisture back into it. So I picked up the Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Mask in Tomato. Let's get on and see how I managed with it!

Unboxing Ichiko Bento's August Bento

Believe it or not, I have never actually subscribed to any beauty boxes! It's something I always considered but by the time payday comes around I already have a wishlist of things I need to get ASAP. So, I was incredibly surprised and grateful to be able to try out one of Ichiko Bento's boxes! Ichiko Bento is a subscription service that provides a mixture of both Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese beauty products. They provide two different sizes of "bento", the Classic priced at 14 contains 5 products and the Deluxe priced at 26 contains 5-7 products, one of which being a full sized skincare product. This is ideal for those that are interested in getting into Asian beauty but don't know what products to start with, or for those already heavily into Asian products and want a little surprise each month or just a variation things to try. This box I received is their August box which has the theme of Island Escape. Let's get into what I actually received in this box!

Mask Monday ♡ Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Mask ♡ Red Wine

I'm back with yet another Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Mask and this time we have the Red Wine version of the range. Since I have the entire set and I usually pick the mask based on my current skin troubles, I actually picked this one for an ongoing skin issue which is the fact that I have rather large pores.I have been feeling a bit stressed lately but have seemed to have had an aversion to drinking alcohol lately so I figured, why not relax after my bath with a little red wine on my face. I don't have super high expectations but I did hope for at least a small result. So let's take a look at this mask and how it performs.

Mask Monday ♡ A'pieu Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Mask ♡ Watermelon

One of my top favourite fruits is watermelon (my number one actually being pomegranate), despite it's slightly odd texture, I always feel refreshed eating it and it just tastes so so good. So it made it an obvious choice. Of course, the packaging being pastel pink also added an extra point to me choosing to purchase this mask out of the range of Icing Sweet Bar Sheet Masks from my ever loved A'pieu. The range actually has 4 different ~flavours~ (I never know what term to use for sheet mask variations? Face flavours? Maybe I'll use that from now on). It comes in Melon, Watermelon, Pineapple and Hanrabong (it's a form of sweet mandarin orange or so google tells me). Wanting to try more and more sheet masks and discover a few favourites, I've been picking up one or two every so often to give them a go so this was my most recent selection.

K-Beauty Files V - Pink Bird Edition - Sophie of Maple Tree Blog

My K-Beauty Files series is one that lets me share with you some bloggers that share the same interest as me in regards to Korean beauty products. It also allows my readers to discover those in a similar niche to me that will give them a little bit of a different perspective of things. Today I have the super sweet, Sophie (that was not meant to be an alliteration!!) answering my questions about Korean beauty! I met Sophie through the Etude House Pink Bird Programme this year as well as Yennie from last month.

Mask Monday ♡ Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Mask ♡ Makgeolli

First of all, apologies for missing last week's Mask Monday. I felt like I was starting to get on a roll with these but I missed last week due to feeling a bit stressed out and a bit down in all honesty. So self care and blogging took a bit of a back seat while I tried to let myself relax and try and get myself back together. However, I'm baaaaack today~ carrying on with the Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Masks this time in the Makgeolli variety. So what is makgeolli? Well, it's a sweet Korean alcoholic beverage made from rice (usually) or wheat, one I actually haven't tried but do intend to at somepoint (I have had soju before and I ended up getting fairly drunk after one bottle.....I'm a cheap date). The beverage itself is supposed to be very benficial to the skin containing a heap of probiotics along with vitamins and minerals, leaving several benefits to the skin.

Making The Mistake Of Falling For Cute Packaging

Eyeliner is one of the 3 make up products that are in my absolute necessity pile. I can't go without it. I usually stick to the same eyeliner as I go through so much of it but I've recently been trying to expand and try other ones out to see if I can find a well performing one for a good price (I don't like to go expensive since it's such a disposable item for me). Gel liners are something I've never used but I'm usually recommended by people because of their staying power so, of course, I decided to pick up the cutest one I could find and give it a try! But is picking up the product with the cutest packaging always the best idea?

Mask Monday ♡ Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Mask ♡ Tea Tree

Welcome back to another Mask Monday, the series where I share with you a mask of some form that I have been using lately. More often than not this is going to feature one use sheet masks which should hopefully help you discover new ones to try out. Now, whether you're big in K-beauty or not you will probably have heard of the Tony Moly sheet masks (I say this as I have seen a lot of bloggers post about them) and how beneficial they are. So I went ahead and bought the whole set of 11 from Amazon for £13.50 (this price alters from time to time but is usually under £15, please don't be ripped off by sites selling the single masks for £5-6 each!! They should not be that pricey). First up I am sharing the Tea Tree mask, I picked this one up as I have got a little bit of acne and Tea Tree usually solves that little problem.

Claim
The tea tree mask claims to relax stressed and broken out skin and calm redness down.

Instructions
Apply to the skin and leave on for 20-30 minutes.

Scent and Essence
There is a very strong prominent smell of tea tree which gives me the impression my skin is getting a really good old dose of the stuff! It's actually quite relaxing in all honesty. There was a fair amount of essence but not too much, it seemed the amount in the package was enough to keep the mask moist but not allowing for a lot of extra to be used after. This isn't a complaint though as I don't like my masks dripping. There was a very very faint tingle as I was wearing it but that's to be expected of tea tree normally.

Fit and Material
This mask is actually on the smaller compared to other Korean sheet masks, I found it actually fit to my face size perfectly leaving only a little extra at the bottom. Also holy crap these sheet masks are thicccc. I've used other sheet masks such as gel ones in the past but this is definitely the thickest sheet mask out of the cotton material ones I have tried so far. It doesn't feel too heavy but I was shocked upon initially taking it out of the packaging how heavy and thick it was.

Result
As per usual, I left this on for the longest recommended time (30 minutes). Upon removal it took about 10 minutes for the essence left on my face (after a massage) to absorb into my skin and I was left with skin that was feeling soft and was looking quite matte (most masks make me look dewy after) finish. The spots I had on my face were noticeably less red and didn't feel as painful as they did before and the following morning they had actually reduced in size (yay!!). There was a slight tacky feeling for a while but it did eventually go away (I tend to expect this with most masks anyway).

Overall
Overall I'm very happy with the results of this mask and how it performed. It did what it claimed to do and it was very calming for my skin that was a little inflamed.

Repurchase?
I think a little stock of these would be great for when I'm suffering from a breakout to help calm it down a bit (I don't tend to get them all too often and it's only maybe 2 hormonal spots on the lower half of my face but I still don't like it!). So yes, this is a definite repurchase out of this set for me!

Have you tried these Tony Moly masks before? Which was your favourite? I've got more reviews of all of the other masks coming in time, so be on the look out!

K-Beauty Files IV - Pink Bird Edition - Yennie of Yennie's Beauty Corner

This little series finally makes a little reappearance on the blog! This time I am featuring one of my fellow Etude House Pink Birds on the blog and letting you get to know her and her relationship with K-Beauty a bit more! I started this series initially to share the love for other bloggers that share my same interest in Korean beauty products and let you discover more! So today we have the lovely Yennie! As you can guess I met her through the Pink Bird programme this year and she was actually the one that started up the group chat for us! Today you're gonna find out a little more about her!

Mask Monday ♡ A'pieu's Sweet Peach Sheet Mask

Mask Monday is back!! I have a tonne of sheet masks to work my way through so what better excuse to bring back a feature I made an attempt at starting! I've been slacking in the skincare front lately and need to slowly develop some good habits to get me back into things, so a weekly face mask is on the cards. Today I have one from A'pieu, a brand you will have become fairly acquainted with reading my blog as they've become one of my favourites. I actually received this mask for free because the eBay seller had to wait 2 days to ship out my order due to it being a holiday in Korea at the time and sent this alongside my order as an apology (nice huh?! It still arrived earlier than all my other orders ordered earlier too).

Review | The Face Shop - Mini Pet Perfume Hand Cream ♡ White Floral

One of the major attraction points to Korean beauty products is without a doubt the packaging and I think you'll agree this is no exception. I'm not usually one for actually using hand creams (unless it's good old winter) but I like collecting them based on either their scent on their packaging. This one was actually picked up for me by my mum as she was having a look to see if there were any Korean make up bits in TK Maxx and this was one of the two things she found that day (the other is also cat themed!). This is actually my first product I have got from The Face Shop (this will come as a shock to other Kbeauty lovers....oops) so let's see if it will make me wanna try more!

A Little Escape to Pennan

Having always lived in the city since I was born, it's sometimes nice to get away to somewhere a little more remote and less busy. We recently went for the weekend to Stuart's dad's house in the little coastal village of Pennan, the little coastal village in Aberdeen-shire. This is our second visit there and with the weather being far nicer than it was on our first trip in December, I decided to get some photos taken and yes this is a super photo heavy post.

Review | Peripera Peri's Ink Velvet ♡ #9 Love Sniper Red

In my make up collection I always like to have a red lip tint and have done so for years. Being pale, dark haired and dark eyed, red really stands out on me and suits me well, either giving me a sexier look or looking just a little brighter. Desperate for a red and noticing all the Korean beauty instagrammers were sharing this particular liquid lipstick/tint constantly, I had to get my hands on one of them and hit two birds with one stone by getting myself a much needed red.

My Pink Bird Experience - Working With Etude House

Hey hey! Regular readers will know that for the last few months I got to work with Etude House as part of their Pink Bird programme. This programme involves a bunch of bloggers and YouTubers being selected and a box of products released by Etude House sent out for the purpose of review. This is to help promote Etude House and their products to an International audience. For me, being a massive fan of Etude this was a dream come true and I couldn't believe my luck! Today I want to talk about the experience I have had with them and I want to highlight both the positive and negative aspects of things as I feel it's important to be transparent in my views and things I have experienced. Any negative points mentioned are not intended to bash Etude House or to steer people away from them, but pinpoint aspects that I believe could be improved on.

An Overview of the Emotional Journey of Prompto's Discovery of His Origins

Final Fantasy XV was a game that I had anticipated since it was first announced as Final Fantasy Versus XIII back in 2006, when it finally came out last year it was the first time in a long time that I fully devoted a lot of my spare time to a single game. It ended up being the first game I got a platinum trophy for as well. While the game was met with a bunch of mixed reviews, I myself thoroughly enjoyed the game and would definitely have it in my top 5 Final Fantasy games. I admit the story lacked a little but the character development has been one of my favourites in the series. When FFXV was released, there was the option to purchase a season pass for £20, this would give you additional content such as the Holiday event items and DLC episodes for each character. Earlier this year we were given Episode Gladiolus, while it filled in the hole in the story, it wasn't overly enjoyable to me and it lacked a lot of depth. Out comes Episode Prompto, following our upbeat blondie photographer and his journey into discovering where he came from. Not wanting to spoil details of the main game nor the Episode, I'm going to just talk about some elements and what feelings I took away from it and try and keep this spoiler free.

Review | Etude House Wonder Fun Park ♡ Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Chiffon - PK034

I know my blog is just crawling with Etude House posts and lately they have just been my Pink Bird posts, but I have one for you today that isn't! Following the release of the Wonder Fun Park collection, I got to sample some of the products from the range through the Pink Bird programme back in February, but I wanted more! So I went ahead and purchased 2 more lip products, one in lipstick form and one a warm shade of the lip tints. Today I am going to talk about the lipstick I chose, as it was released in Etude's Chiffon formula which is one I hadn't got around to trying and I was intrigued as to how it would perform in comparison to their previous lipsticks. This came in 5 shades and while, as per usual, I was gravitating towards one of the more orange shades, I thought I would get myself a lovely little pink shade perfect for spring time. I've been wearing much softer make up looks lately so this seemed like it was going to be a perfect fit.

Review | Etude House Pink Bird Box May 2017 ♡

It's hard to believe how quickly these last few months have gone in regards to the Pink Bird program I have had the privilege to be a part of this year. Next month is the last month! It's quite sad but I am seriously grateful for having the chance to work with Etude House, it was a dream for me! This month I am putting all the products together in one post instead of individually and to tie in with this post I will also be holding a giveaway featuring two of the items I am sharing in this post!

GIVEAWAY ♡ Cherry Blossoms and Romantic Frills with Etude House

Yay yay yay! It's giveaway time!

Today I am so excited to share a little giveaway with you guys and I'm tying it in with my current collaboration with Etude House through the Pink Bird program. All of these products have been featured on the blog lately!

Review | Etude House Super Slim Proof Liners ♡ Etude House Pink Bird Box April 2017

Today I have the fourth and final blog post for the products featured around the Pink Bird box I received for April. This time I am sharing with you two eyeliners from Etude House's latest line of liners. We each received two, one in black and one in brown and one being a brush type liner and the other being a pencil. Eyeliner is a major part of my make up routine and I very rarely go a day or make up look without it, so it was exciting for me to try these out and see how well they lasted and applied onto my eyelid.

Review | Etude House Any Cushion All Day Perfect - Vanilla ♡ Etude House Pink Bird Box April 2017

I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to cushions having owned maybe a total of 6 in the past but from my experiences, I've always found them to be a handy little carry about when I'm out somewhere, easy touch ups and convenient packaging and having to take one less make up brush with me. 3 out of the 6 cushions I have previously owned have been ones from Etude House and while I had success with one of them, I found the other two I used didn't quite meet my expectations. So when I found out I was getting this Any Cushion All Day Perfect in my Pink Bird box this month, I was both excited and anxious about it as I was really hopeful that this was going to be another successful cushion for me.

Review | Etude House Fix and Fix Primer - Mint ♡ Etude House Pink Bird Box April 2017

Primer is something I use pretty much everyday and I'm usually one for a brightening one to help my rather dull skin look a bit healthier. That combined with a nice bright blush seems to give me a healthy complexion that I'm frequently complimented on. Thanks to Etude House, I was able to try a colour correcting primer for the first time in January in cushion form and I was quite happy with the results so I was more than excited to try a different form of the product. When asked which colour corrector I would like I chose Mint because I suffer from redness in my face and redness that increases as the day goes by. Etude House's Fix and Fix Primer shares its shades with the cushion (aside from the strobing one is changed up for one that seemingly acts similarly to the Benefit Porefessional). But this time it comes in a tube form and a liquid-cream formula.

First Impressions | Etude House Honey Cera ♡ Etude House Pink Bird Box April 2017

Hey guys I'm back with my newest Pink Bird post, as with the previous month I am splitting them into separate posts just for the sheer purpose of adding focus into the products. I'm starting again with the little skincare sample set that we got and as with the Soon Jung line, I will only be giving my first impression, so this will be written as and when I use it for the very first time. While I am quite good at making samples last me longer than they should, I don't feel like it's fully enough time to get a proper review of a product out to you guys. And I promise, within the next week I will have a post that isn't my Pink Bird stuff!

Guest Post | Raising Awareness of Hyperemesis Gravidarum ♡ Elle May

It's been a long time since I had a guest post featured on my blog, mainly because I found the blog posts I was getting weren't overly related to my blog itself. However, I came to my dear blogger friend Elle to write a post for me about Hyperemesis Gravidarum to help her raise awareness for this condition that affects a lot more women in pregnancy than you may think! This is something I have always had awareness of, but something I haven't experienced. Elle is also raising money in support of raising awareness and you will find the link in this post if you would like to donate any amount towards the cause, she's over halfway towards her goal now! The following words are that of Elle.

Review | Etude House Glass Tinting Lips Talk & Cases ♡ Etude House Pink Bird Box March 2017

I'm back with the final part of the March Pink Bird Box and this is probably the biggest part of it and it took me the most time to get organised for you guys but it's finally here! The last aspect of the box involved us receiving 3 of Etude House's new Glass Tinting Lips Talk range in a variety of shades and these also come along with mix and match lipstick cases that you pop your lipsticks into! I think this is a really neat concept and one that really lets you personalise your lipsticks to suit your own style and taste. It is also beneficial as it means you just have to pay for the lipstick part and not pay for both the lipstick and case when you want to replace it after you've finished!

Review | Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask ♡ Etude House Pink Bird March 2017

Hey hey! I'm back with yet another Etude House Pink Bird Post! I'm sorry that these seem so clumped together and that there's not a whole heap other content on the go but I am working on fixing that! This is the second part of the Pink Bird March Box and this post is centred on the Etude House 0.2 Therapy Air Mask, we each received three in our box (if I remember correctly we all got different types!). The purpose of this mask is to be thin enough and delicate enough on the skin to be able to be used daily, since sheet masks tend to be added as a last step of a nightly skincare routine in Korea. Some sheet masks can feel heavy on your face so it's interesting to see if a 0.2mm mask would feel any lighter or if it was going to make no difference at all.

First Impressions | Etude House Soon Jung ♡ Etude House Pink Bird March 2017

I'm doing something a little different this time around when it comes to the Pink Bird box and I am reviewing the products seperately! I feel this will be beneficial in the sense that I can be indepth and break things down better without my readers having to read one massive long post. Plus, due to the fact that this box comes both with a focus of skincare and lip sticks, I wanted to be able to highlight both aspects in their own right.

Etude House recently released a new skincare line called Soon Jung, the focus of this skincare is for those with sensitive skin and to create products without any harmful ingredients. While I have been trying various skincare products lately, I've still yet to find my perfect solution for my skin so getting this little sample kit lets me have a short try of things. This is a pro and a con in all honesty as sample sizes are not enough to get a full feel of a skincare line as I like to test skincare for 4 weeks at least to know if it works for me or not.

Review | Etude House Pink Bird Box February 2017 ♡ Wonder Fun Park

After a long wait thanks to some issues with customs, I finally got my hands on the products from the second box of the Etude House Pink Bird program! This time round, we were given a selection of products from their new Wonder Fun Park range, a range brought out just for the spring time with pastel eye colours, bright lip shades and rainbow cheek products. I was looking forward to this an insane amount as soon as I saw the packaging for it as, as you can see, it's a whole lot of pastel which fits right in with my colour scheme!

Review | Tony Moly x Pokemon Mini Cover Cushion

I have a lot of fond memories from when I was younger in regards to Pokemon, whether it was watching the anime when it was on TV in the morning before school, playing the games on my GameBoy or collecting the trading cards and ending up getting a whole heap of shiny cards because the boys at school all had a thing for me and wanted to give me their shiny cards. The release of Pokemon Go last year brought back a lot of nostalgia for a lot of fans of the series and got people out and about! At the height of the popularity of the game, Korean brand Tony Moly teamed up with Nintendo to bring out a selection of beauty products adorning a select few of the most popular Pokemon on the packaging.

The Quickest Nine Months

I can't believe how quickly time has been going since I've become a parent. I remember not so long ago writing my birth story out for you guys and now here I am talking about Rinoa being 9 months old, only 3 months away from her being a year old! It's crazy! I wanted to share with you guys what these 9 months have been like and the progress that Rinoa has been making lately.

Review | 3 Concept Eyes Liquid Lip Color #BE DASHED

For years and years I have been eyeing up products from 3 Concept Eyes. Me, being as stingy as I am, was worried about paying the slightly higher price for their products, simply because I'm too much of a bargain hunter. However, I spoke recently about wanting to try 3 brands this year, even if it means I only try one product from each brand, as long as I get a little taste of them! So first of all, I have decided to buy a product from 3CE from my wishlist in the form of the 3CE Liquid Lip Color in the shade Be Dashed. I struggled to narrow down a lip colour I wanted desperately from them (believe me, this is far from the only one!) but I felt like I wanted another bold colour in the pink-coral shade range.

Living with Minor Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Following me on twitter, you will know last week I had a recent flare up of a skin condition I have. Being the worst one I have had in about 7 years and being my first in a year and a half, I thought it would be a good time to sit down and talk to you guys about this condition, what it does to not only my body but my mind as well. I want to raise awareness for this condition as I know there are probably many that have it and haven't been able to put a name to it, are too embarrassed to go to the doctors or have actually gone and found that the doctors aren't clued up on it and aren't able to give them the help or advice they need. Following reading this, if you have any questions to ask, feel free!

Review | Etude House Pink Bird Box January 2017 ♡

Hey everyone! How have you all been? As the majority of you will know, out of all of the Korean brands I have used, my absolute favourite is Etude House. The quality of the products combined with the stupidly adorable packaging always drew me to it. I've been using their products for about 6 years now and I don't see that changing anytime soon. So, in December, I woke up to an email one day letting me know that I had been chosen to be an Etude House Pink Bird for 2017. What is this exactly? A Pink Bird is a blogger or YouTuber who, every month, receives a box of full sized goodies from Etude House and in return, we review the products in the box! I was genuinely shocked that I had been given the chance to do this and I'm incredibly thankful for the opportunity.

Korean beauty has been a major part of my life for the last 7 years and I don't see myself stopping that. My blog is mainly here to share these products with you and try to spread the love of Korean brands as they have been some of the best I have used. So, to stop me blabbing on about that. Let's get on with the products!
